Review: EA Active More Workouts

I was bored and thinking I really should getting around to using the new EA Sports Active More Workouts that I bought.

What I thought would be a short workout ended up being about 1 hour and 20 minutes because I was having alot of fun. I signed up for the 6 week challenge. I set up my workout days for Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. So that is one of the good things is that now you can pick the days that you want to work out.

Another one of the advantages of this particular game is that they have incorporated abdominal exercises. You can even do a 24 minutes abdominal blast and a 12 minute one. I really enjoyed the 30 minute step arobics on medium difficulty and I can say that I sufficently have sore and achy muscles. After all of the calories were tallied together it was just under what my weekly total should have been, which is supposed to been 500. I managed through sheer fun burn 490 calories.

This game has built in Balance Board functionality, but I only used it to weight myself.

So all I can say is when was the last time you enjoyed working out for over an hour? I would definatly give this game a try for the Wii. Hopefully I will be able to review Your Shape when it’s released later on this month. Apparently you won’t need your Wiimote or Nunchuck so you don’t have anything bogging you down.
